Business Systems Analyst II

We are supporting a rapidly growing aerospace technology organisation seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to lead process improvement and systems transformation initiatives across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain functions.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in scaling operational processes for complex hardware products in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives across multiple business functions

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workflow analysis

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions

  • Analyse data and generate actionable recommendations using SQL and reporting tools

  • Develop process documentation, business requirements and workflow maps

  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams

  • Support ERP, PLM and business systems enhancements

  • Drive adoption of new processes, tools and technologies

  • Deliver training and ongoing support to end users

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and relevant business systems experience

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations or supply chain organisations

  • Strong process mapping and process improvement capabilities

  • ERP and PLM experience

  • SQL and data analysis skills

  • Understanding of configuration management, quality systems or change management processes

  • Experience within aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing or other regulated industries preferred

We are looking to add a Senior Electronics Engineer II to our Digital/Mixed-Signal Electronics team. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and are passionate about developing leading-edge electronics for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.

In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of board-level electronics hardware design and implementation for advanced RF communication systems. We are seeking a digital-focused Senior Electrical Design Engineer with a broad foundation in electrical design and test, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to peers and leadership. You will mentor junior engineers, perform thorough design reviews, and drive technical decision-making while leading focused efforts in fast-moving environments. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and test.
  • Significant experience designing electronics with rigor, in teams that value thorough analysis and testing. Aerospace design experience preferred but not required.
  • Expertise in aspects of digital and mixed-signal electronics, such as signal integrity, implementing FPGAs on boards, ADCs/DACs, and telemetry subsystems.
  • Experience owning the design phase of complex board-level electronics, including trade studies, key part selection, and detailed design.
  • Experience delivering hardware designs through production and deployment.
  • Expertise in PCB layout, including high-density interconnect (HDI) stackup design and high-speed routing.
  • Experience running board-level signal integrity and/or power integrity simulation tools such as Ansys SIwave, ADS SIPro, or Mentor Hyperlynx.
  • Proven success in debugging, root cause analysis, and design reviews.
  • Depth in point-of-load power converter design for digital boards.
  • Strong working knowledge of adjacent fields, such as software and mechanical, that guides hardware design and system design.
  • Extensive lab experience for bring-up and verification of new hardware.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC concepts and design to mitigate these effects.
  • Understanding of Military and/or DO specifications.
  • Experience with design qualification.
  • Experience leading small teams of hardware engineers to develop multi-module assemblies, including hardware architecture, requirements, make/buy decisions, and interconnects.
