Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design activities from concept through production and qualification.

  • Design ruggedized electronics packaging for aerospace and defense applications.

  • Perform thermal, structural, shock, and vibration analysis using FEA tools.

  • Develop mechanical solutions for airborne and terrestrial antenna systems.

  • Support thermal management, EMI/EMC mitigation, and environmental qualification.

  • Create detailed 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and GD&T documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with electrical, RF, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams.

  • Apply design-for-manufacturing, assembly, testing, and reliability principles.

  • Support environmental testing to DO-160G and MIL-STD-810 standards.

  • Present technical designs to customers and engineering leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of mechanical design and analysis experience within aerospace, avionics, or ruggedized electronics.

  • Strong experience designing electronics enclosures, assemblies, or aircraft structures.

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

  • Experience with ANSYS or comparable FEA tools.

  • Understanding of thermal management, vibration, stress, and structural analysis.

  • Knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, and precision manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation and electronics integration.

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Aerospace hardware development and environmental qualification.

  • Active phased array antennas, avionics, or RF electronics packaging.

  • Aircraft integration and mechanical interface design.

  • DO-160G or MIL-STD-810 qualification.

  • Previous technical leadership or project ownership.

What’s on Offer?

  • Opportunity to develop next-generation aerospace and defense technologies.

  • Exposure to advanced antenna and communication systems.

  • Collaborative, technically driven engineering environment.

  • Comprehensive benefits and potential equity opportunities.
