The Opportunity

EVONA is partnering with an innovative space and aerospace technology company to hire a Visual Communications Specialist for its Austin-based team.

This position is ideal for a talented presentation and visual designer who enjoys taking complex technical or business information and transforming it into clear, polished and visually compelling communications.

Working closely with senior designers as well as Business Development, Marketing and Engineering teams, you will help produce presentations and visual assets that communicate sophisticated satellite, spacecraft and aerospace technologies to a variety of audiences.

Presentation design is at the heart of this position. You’ll support a high-volume environment where strong PowerPoint skills, visual storytelling, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Format, design and produce presentation slides for business development, marketing, recruiting and internal communications.

  • Create and update presentation layouts, diagrams, charts, icons and supporting visual assets.

  • Translate technical and business information into clear, engaging visual communications.

  • Support rapid-turnaround presentation and design requests from Business Development and Marketing.

  • Incorporate feedback from Marketing, Business Development and Engineering stakeholders into design revisions.

  • Deliver polished and accurate presentation materials within required deadlines.

  • Maintain and organize presentation templates, slide libraries and approved content.

  • Support version control and ensure teams have access to current presentation materials.

  • Identify opportunities to improve templates, presentation systems and content organization.

  • Design supporting marketing collateral including one-pagers, digital graphics and trade show materials.

  • Develop an understanding of complex aerospace products and technologies to support accurate visual communication.

  • Follow established brand, content-review and confidentiality standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in presentation design, graphic design, visual communication or marketing communications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, particularly presentation and information design.

  • Strong understanding of typography, layout and visual storytelling.

  • Ability to translate technical or business concepts into understandable visual content.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple design requests and shifting priorities.

  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, rapid-turnaround environment.

  • Ability to consistently apply established brand and design standards.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

  • Comfortable receiving feedback and efficiently incorporating revisions.

  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality presentation and visual communication work.

Preferred Experience

Experience within aerospace, defense, government, technology, manufacturing or another highly regulated environment would be advantageous.

Exposure to technical presentations, information design, infographics, diagrams, data visualization or engineering-related content would also be valuable.

Location

This is a full-time, on-site position in Austin, Texas.

To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee or refugee, or otherwise eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
