An orbital launch vehicle developer in Quebec is hiring a Composites Engineer to work hands-on across their composite manufacturing operation as they scale toward first launch.

This is a build role, not a desk role. You'll run prepreg layup, filament winding, vacuum bagging and mould fabrication, design the moulds, tooling, jigs and fixtures that support production, and develop the processes that make all of it repeatable at rate. You'll work directly with the design engineers to turn requirements into something that can actually be manufactured, and you'll own the documentation behind it: work instructions, quality procedures, BOMs and test records. There's a genuine R&D thread too, trialling new materials and processes and testing them properly.

You'll need a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree and at least two years designing and manufacturing composite components in aerospace or a similarly regulated environment. Solid grounding in resin systems and fibres, so carbon, glass, epoxy and phenolic. CAD, ideally Siemens NX. Comfortable reading drawings and using metrology tools, and genuinely hands-on with trimming, finishing and assembly.

You must be able to pass Canadian Controlled Goods security checks. English is essential, French an asset.
