Field Technician

Field Technician Los Angeles / Pasadena, California About the Role Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialized monitoring equipment seeking a Field Technician to support installation, setup, and commissioning of systems at customer facilities across Southern California. This is a permanent, field-based position requiring travel throughout the LA area and beyond. What You'll Do • Install monitoring equipment at physical facility locations • Perform cable routing, connections, and electrical setup for installations • Commission equipment systems: power up, configure, and verify proper operation • Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure they meet specifications • Travel to multiple locations across Southern California, including Sacramento and surrounding regions • Coordinate with on-site teams during installations • Maintain detailed records of installations and commissioning activities • Provide field support and respond to equipment issues as needed What We're Looking For • Demonstrated experience with hardware installation and system commissioning • Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions • Comfortable performing physical work, including working at heights and in various conditions • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation • Willingness to travel regularly within Southern California and occasional travel statewide • Ability to work flexible hours as project schedules require Nice to Have • Basic electrical knowledge or aptitude for learning electrical fundamentals • Experience with test and measurement equipment • Familiarity with building systems and facility infrastructure • Experience in construction, facilities, or technical installation environments Location & Travel Primary Base: Los Angeles/Pasadena area On-site work at customer locations throughout Southern California with regular travel to LA, Pasadena, Sacramento, and surrounding areas.
