Facilities Manager

An innovative space technology company developing advanced lunar mobility and robotic systems is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the day-to-day operations of its engineering and production facilities.

This role will play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained environments for teams developing and testing next-generation space vehicles and robotics technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Coordinate with landlords, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Support facility improvement projects, budgeting, and scheduling activities
  • Assist with the buildout and expansion of company facilities and headquarters
  • Manage facility cleanliness, organisation, and operational readiness
  • Partner with IT, Security, and Safety teams to maintain secure and compliant environments
  • Support overlapping operational functions including inventory, shipping, and supplies management
  • Identify and implement operational improvements across facilities and workplace processes

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience within Facilities, Operations, or Workplace Management roles
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors and contractors
  • Comfortable working with hand tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
  • Project Management certification or experience managing facility projects
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and support hands-on operational activities
  • U.S. Person status required
