A rapidly scaling aerospace & defense company building next-generation communication systems for satellites, spacecraft, and airborne platforms is looking for a Senior RF Engineer to join their growing hardware team.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end design role focused on building real hardware — not just simulating it.

You’ll be working on cutting-edge RF systems, contributing across the full lifecycle — from early concept through to build, test, and in-orbit support.

If you enjoy being in the lab, owning your designs, and seeing hardware go from schematic to space, this is exactly that kind of role.

? What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and develop board-level RF hardware (schematics, PCB layout, routing)

  • Work across full lifecycle: architecture ? design ? build ? test ? production

  • Contribute to phased array systems (RF front ends, converters, filters, beamformers, antennas)

  • Run simulations and analysis using tools like ADS / CST

  • Get hands-on in the lab with bring-up, debugging, and testing

  • Own link budgets and system-level RF performance considerations

  • Present designs in technical reviews and support customer-facing discussions

? What They’re Looking For

  • ~6+ years of experience in RF hardware design

  • Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium or similar)

  • Comfortable with RF simulation tools (ADS, CST, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, scope)

  • Understanding of RF systems and communications concepts (link budgets, modulation, etc.)

  • Someone who enjoys owning hardware end-to-end in a fast-paced environment

? Nice to Have

  • Aerospace or space hardware experience

  • Antenna design or phased array exposure

  • EMI/EMC or reliability analysis experience

  • MATLAB, Python, or similar
