We are seeking a Reliability Manager to lead the reliability, maintainability, and availability effort for a major lunar surface mobility program. In this role, you will shape reliability strategy, guide testing and verification, and ensure mission-critical systems meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply NASA’s reliability standard NASA-STD-8729.1A to vehicle and subsystem designs
  • Lead reliability analyses and refine allocations at the component and subsystem level
  • Drive FMECA, maintainability analysis, service life analysis, and related assessments in collaboration with integrated product teams
  • Support verification and validation of reliability requirements including verification objectives, test plans, and procedures
  • Develop and maintain reliability documentation such as analyses, reports, and compliance matrices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering or a related field
  • 7 or more years of experience in reliability, maintainability, and availability engineering
  • Experience developing probabilistic reliability models
  • Demonstrated experience with NASA, DoD, or equivalent reliability standards
  • Experience working through the systems engineering lifecycle
  • Proficiency with reliability analysis tools and software
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-driven and able to meet critical deadlines
  • U.S. Person

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with software reliability
  • Previous experience supporting Class A NASA missions
  • Experience preparing and presenting reliability content for design reviews such as SRR, PDR, or CDR
