The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving U.S. defense and intelligence business development. You will own pipeline creation, capture strategy, and contract execution across classified and unclassified programs, expanding the company’s footprint within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.
You will shape opportunities before formal release, influence acquisition strategy, and lead pursuits from early positioning through award and growth.
Key responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining senior-level relationships across Department of Defense stakeholders, U.S. Space Force, Combatant Commands, Service headquarters, and Intelligence Community elements

Identifying and shaping RFIs, RFPs, SBIRs, BAAs, OTAs, IDIQ task orders, and related vehicles aligned to geospatial, ISR, space, and AI-enabled mission needs

Owning account strategy and capture planning, aligning technical capability to operational gaps and acquisition priorities

Leading pursuits end-to-end including teaming strategy, proposal input, pricing coordination, and executive engagement

Engaging operational users and program offices to understand workflow friction points and translate these into actionable capture strategies

Representing the company at demonstrations, exercises, and technical exchanges where operational credibility is critical

Expanding awarded programs into sustained programs of record

Delivering structured competitive intelligence and funding analysis, including budget signals and policy shifts impacting U.S. defense acquisition
This role reports directly to the Head of Government.
What We’re Looking For
-
8+ years of experience selling geospatial, space, ISR, or defense technology into U.S. Department of Defense or Intelligence Community customers

Direct ownership of pipeline growth and account expansion

Active TS clearance required, TS/SCI strongly preferred

Proven experience shaping and closing multi-year U.S. Government contracts, including influencing requirements pre-solicitation

Strong working knowledge of FAR-based contracts, OTAs, BAAs, CSOs, and IDIQ vehicles

Experience transitioning pilot programs into sustained funding

Demonstrated engagement across operational commands, program executive offices, contracting activities, and senior civilian or military leadership

Ability to translate mission capability gaps into executable capture strategies

Experience operating within classified environments and secure customer settings

Willingness to travel regularly across CONUS and OCONUS for exercises and field engagements

Executive presence with senior officers and civilian leaders, combined with credibility at operator and analyst level

Base salary: $150,000 to $170,000

On-target earnings: $250,000 to $290,000
