An innovative space and geospatial technology company is scaling its government footprint across Europe and Allied defense markets.
This organisation delivers high-resolution Earth observation data and advanced analytics that support mission-critical decision making across defense, intelligence, infrastructure, agriculture, and environmental security. Their platform simplifies access to satellite intelligence, enabling operational teams to deploy space-derived insight quickly and effectively.
As part of their next phase of growth, they are seeking a senior commercial leader to establish and expand strategic relationships across European Ministries of Defense and multinational command structures.
The Role
You will own European and Allied defense business development strategy, building long-term partnerships across defense and intelligence communities.
Key responsibilities include:

Building senior relationships across Ministries of Defense, multinational command environments, and operational units

Identifying and shaping RFIs, RFPs, framework agreements, and coalition capability initiatives

Leading capture strategy and account planning in alignment with product and engineering teams

Driving pursuits from early engagement through contract award

Representing the company at multinational exercises, demonstrations, and defense forums

Providing structured market intelligence on procurement pathways, funding streams, and evolving coalition priorities

Establishing a strong regional presence across multiple European member states
Reporting into senior government leadership, this is a high-impact role with strategic visibility.
What We’re Looking For

8+ years selling geospatial, ISR, space, or defense technology into European or Allied defense customers

Strong understanding of multinational procurement frameworks and coalition funding mechanisms

Experience navigating multi-country stakeholder environments

Proven track record closing multi-year defense contracts

Ability to translate operational requirements into structured capture strategies

Executive presence with senior military and acquisition stakeholders

Willingness to travel extensively across Europe

Fluent English required, additional European languages advantageous
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $150,000 to $170,000 USD

OTE: $250,000 to $290,000 USD
