This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, mission-driven team building real flight hardware for some of the most exciting space programs in development today.
As the Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) Lead, you'll own the planning, coordination, execution, and leadership of vehicle-level integration and test campaigns, helping take complex space systems from development through launch readiness.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Assembly, Integration & Test activities across the full product lifecycle for a major spaceflight program.
- Develop and execute vehicle and subsystem integration and test strategies.
- Plan major test campaigns, including facilities, personnel, schedules, equipment, risks, and resources.
- Partner with Systems Engineering teams to support verification and validation activities.
- Develop, review, and execute test plans, procedures, scripts, and reports.
- Select and coordinate test facilities and external partners.
- Support spacecraft integration activities and troubleshoot hardware and software issues during testing.
- Establish and improve company-wide testing, verification, and validation processes.
- Present technical progress, risks, and test results to leadership, customers, and partners.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through critical milestones and test events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience supporting spacecraft, aerospace, robotics, or complex hardware systems.
- Strong background in Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) activities.
- Experience planning and executing hardware and software test campaigns.
- Familiarity with spacecraft command and control systems, simulators, test benches, and ground support equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting integrated systems and driving issues to resolution.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with ambitious schedules.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience serving as AI&T Lead on a spaceflight program.
- Experience developing test procedures, scripts, and verification documentation.
- Familiarity with configuration management and product lifecycle tools.
- Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, lunar mobility platforms, or human spaceflight programs.
