About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the development of next-generation satellite systems. This role is ideal for a highly experienced hardware engineer with deep expertise in electronics design, digital system debugging, and power electronics who enjoys staying hands-on while helping guide technical direction across complex spacecraft programs.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable, flight-ready hardware while supporting junior engineers through technical mentorship, reviews, and collaborative problem-solving. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to cutting-edge spacecraft development in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with electrical engineering teams across hardware design, debugging, and system integration activities
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers through design reviews, troubleshooting support, and hands-on problem solving
  • Review schematics, support board bring-up activities, and debug complex hardware systems in laboratory environments
  • Debug and validate digital systems including logic-level circuits, microcontrollers, and embedded interfaces
  • Support power electronics development, including DC/DC converters, power distribution systems, and power integrity analysis
  • Troubleshoot and validate serial communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, and Ethernet
  • Define and maintain engineering standards, validation methodologies, and hardware test processes
  • Partner closely with software, systems, mechanical, and integration teams to deliver flight-ready spacecraft hardware
  • Support system integration, hardware validation, and issue resolution throughout development and test campaigns

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 8–12+ years of experience in hardware development and electrical system design
  • Strong hands-on experience debugging electronics, including digital systems and power electronics
  • Proficiency with PCB design and schematic tools such as Altium Designer or equivalent platforms
  • Solid understanding of serial communication protocols including I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, and Ethernet
  • Experience working with laboratory debug equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers and work across multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing spacecraft, aerospace, or other high-reliability hardware systems
  • Familiarity with environmental testing including vibration, thermal, EMI/EMC, and qualification testing
  • Knowledge of design-for-test (DFT), fault-tolerant systems, or radiation-tolerant electronics
  • Experience supporting hardware integration and system-level validation activities
