Overview
We're working with an advanced aerospace manufacturer seeking a Production Manager to lead avionics manufacturing operations supporting electronics production, PCBA assembly and manufacturing scale-up activities.
This is a leadership role focused on production execution, team development, process optimisation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day avionics manufacturing operations
- Manage production schedules, resources and manufacturing priorities
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Improve throughput, quality and production efficiency
- Develop and mentor supervisors, technicians and manufacturing personnel
- Partner with engineering and supply chain teams to support production goals
- Support manufacturing scale-up and future production growth
Requirements
- Experience leading electronics, avionics or advanced manufacturing teams
- Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing and electronics assembly
- Experience with SMT manufacturing environments
- Background in lean manufacturing and process optimisation
- Proven ability to improve production performance and scale operations
