2x Quality Engineers – Snr/Principal

Senior Quality Engineer
Westminster, CO | Full-Time | On-Site

Are you passionate about driving quality excellence in a high-tech manufacturing environment? Join an innovative aerospace company developing cutting-edge communications technology for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other advanced airborne systems.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen quality systems, and help optimize manufacturing processes through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. This is a hands-on role with significant cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles.
  • Drive root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Facilitate process improvement workshops and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) events.
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Mentor teams and promote a culture of operational excellence.
  • Deliver Lean and Six Sigma training across the organization.
  • Conduct machine capability (CmK) and GR&R studies using statistical analysis tools.
  • Support internal, customer, and AS9100 quality audits.
  • Develop and monitor quality metrics to improve operational performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership to enhance product quality and production efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in Continuous Improvement and Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001.
  • Proven success leading Kaizen events and Lean initiatives.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, and Lean Six Sigma tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace, electronics, or other high-reliability manufacturing experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • AS9100 or ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
