We're looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen quality systems, and help optimize manufacturing processes through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. This is a hands-on role with significant cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles.
- Drive root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
- Facilitate process improvement workshops and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) events.
- Develop and execute continuous improvement roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Mentor teams and promote a culture of operational excellence.
- Deliver Lean and Six Sigma training across the organization.
- Conduct machine capability (CmK) and GR&R studies using statistical analysis tools.
- Support internal, customer, and AS9100 quality audits.
- Develop and monitor quality metrics to improve operational performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in Continuous Improvement and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001.
- Proven success leading Kaizen events and Lean initiatives.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, and Lean Six Sigma tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace, electronics, or other high-reliability manufacturing experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- AS9100 or ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
