The Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the design, layout, and testing of printed circuit boards for advanced spacecraft electronics.
Operating within a highly collaborative startup environment, you will own designs from initial concept through production, working closely with electrical, mechanical, and embedded software engineers to develop robust, flight-ready hardware.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, problem solving, and taking ownership of products throughout the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities

Own PCB design from circuit design and schematic capture through PCB layout, bring-up, and validation testing

Conduct trade studies balancing electrical performance, signal integrity, thermal considerations, manufacturability, cost, and schedule

Collaborate with embedded software engineers during board bring-up, debugging, and hardware-software integration

Support board-level and system-level integration activities, including electronics assembly, rework, and testing

Plan, support, and analyse environmental qualification campaigns, including vibration, thermal vacuum (TVAC), and radiation testing

Contribute to design documentation, technical reviews, and test reporting
Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline

1-3 years of professional experience in PCB design and layout using Altium Designer

Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes, design for manufacturing (DFM), and electronics assembly techniques

Strong interest in hands-on hardware development

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative engineering environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Base salary: $140,000 – $160,000
