We’re looking for a Staff Electrical Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of complex electrical hardware for lunar and spaceflight systems in a fast-paced startup environment.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role focused on taking hardware from concept through flight. You’ll work across power electronics, mixed-signal design, high-speed interfaces, board bring-up, integration, testing, and system-level architecture while collaborating closely with mechanical, software, systems, thermal, and avionics teams.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Spaceflight and lunar vehicle electrical hardware
  • Mixed-signal board design and power architectures
  • High-speed interfaces (LVDS, Ethernet, SpaceWire, PCIe, etc.)
  • Board bring-up, debugging, integration, and test
  • EMI/EMC, environmental, and system-level verification
  • Space-rated and radiation-tolerant electronics
  • Hardware trade studies and architecture decisions
  • Supporting NASA design reviews and flight readiness activities

Ideal Background

  • 8+ years developing aerospace, spaceflight, or safety-critical electrical hardware
  • Strong experience with analog/digital circuit design and board-level power systems
  • Experience with high-speed electrical systems and signal integrity considerations
  • Hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer
  • Familiarity with NASA/aerospace hardware standards and environments
  • Comfortable owning hardware designs independently in a fast-moving engineering environment

Nice to Have

  • Artemis, ISS, Commercial Crew, or related NASA program experience
  • FPGA or processor-based embedded systems experience
  • High-voltage / high-power electronics
  • EMI/EMC mitigation experience
  • Startup or NewSpace background
