Facilities Manager
An innovative space technology company developing advanced lunar mobility and robotic systems is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the day-to-day operations of its engineering and production facilities.
This role will play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained environments for teams developing and testing next-generation space vehicles and robotics technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Coordinate with landlords, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Support facility improvement projects, budgeting, and scheduling activities
- Assist with the buildout and expansion of company facilities and headquarters
- Manage facility cleanliness, organisation, and operational readiness
- Partner with IT, Security, and Safety teams to maintain secure and compliant environments
- Support overlapping operational functions including inventory, shipping, and supplies management
- Identify and implement operational improvements across facilities and workplace processes
Key Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience within Facilities, Operations, or Workplace Management roles
- Experience coordinating with external vendors and contractors
- Comfortable working with hand tools, equipment, and machinery
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Project Management certification or experience managing facility projects
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and support hands-on operational activities
- U.S. Person status required
