Project Engineer AI&T

An innovative aerospace company developing advanced lunar mobility and robotic systems is seeking an AI&T Project Engineer to support spacecraft and vehicle integration, verification, and environmental testing activities.

This role will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate and execute test campaigns for next-generation spaceflight hardware in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of spacecraft and vehicle test campaigns
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, facilities, and engineering teams
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and verification methods
  • Support assembly, integration, and rapid prototyping activities
  • Oversee environmental testing including vibe, TVAC, acoustics, static load, and EMI/EMC
  • Manage Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and post-test reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement across testing and integration processes

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Software Engineering, or similar
  • 2+ years’ experience in AI&T, systems engineering, or technical project management
  • Experience supporting environmental test campaigns for aerospace or complex hardware systems
  • Familiarity with NASA or equivalent aerospace testing standards
  • Strong project coordination and cross-functional communication skills
  • Experience using MS Project, Jira, or similar tools
