Systems Engineer
Senior Systems Architect – Human Spaceflight
A pioneering space organisation is looking for a Senior Systems Architect to lead the definition, integration, and verification of a human-rated spacecraft platform designed for orbital, lunar, and deep space missions.
This role is heavily focused on end-to-end spacecraft systems architecture, owning how complex subsystems come together and perform as a single, flight-ready system.
What you’ll do
-
Own spacecraft systems architecture from early concept through flight readiness
-
Define requirements, interfaces, and system-level trades across all major subsystems
-
Lead integration and test activities, including system I&T planning, execution, and issue resolution
-
Drive verification and validation strategies aligned with human-rating requirements
-
Interface closely with hardware teams, test engineers, launch providers, and mission partners
What we’re looking for
-
Experience in spacecraft systems engineering or architecture
-
Proven delivery of integrated flight hardware through system-level test
-
Strong background in spacecraft I&T, requirements flow-down, and verification planning
-
Deep understanding of human-rating standards and certification processes
-
Hands-on, delivery-focused mindset suited to small, fast-paced teams
Why join
-
Play a key role in shaping a next-generation human spaceflight platform
-
Work on near-term missions with real hardware and real impact
-
Competitive compensation and long-term technical influence
If you enjoy architecting complex spacecraft systems and seeing them proven through test, this is a rare opportunity to make a lasting contribution to human spaceflight.
