Operations Manager
Are you passionate about shaping the future of human space exploration? We’re hiring an Operations Manager to help drive day-to-day business operations and support the execution of high-impact engineering programs in a fast-paced, startup-style environment. This role will support cross-functional teams working on next-generation lunar mobility solutions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in building structure, improving workflows, and keeping teams running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and improve operational performance

Support hiring, onboarding, team development initiatives, and other HR-related functions

Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across departments and business priorities

Work closely with Accounting to support payroll, procurement, inventory, vendor relationships, and production operations

Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to support company objectives

Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant standards and regulations

Serve as the main point of contact for office operations including IT, maintenance, shipping, deliveries, new hire setup, and internal announcements

Maintain office and facility readiness, including cleanliness, kitchen/office supplies, snacks, refreshments, and equipment
Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in operations management

Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and office management software

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a dynamic environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Team-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving

Ability to work in-office in Houston, Texas (Clear Lake area)
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting engineering teams or working in aerospace, defense, or technical environments
