We’re hiring an Operations Manager to help drive day-to-day business operations and support the execution of high-impact engineering programs in a fast-paced, startup-style environment. This role will support cross-functional teams working on next-generation lunar mobility solutions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in building structure, improving workflows, and keeping teams running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and improve operational performance

  • Support hiring, onboarding, team development initiatives, and other HR-related functions

  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across departments and business priorities

  • Work closely with Accounting to support payroll, procurement, inventory, vendor relationships, and production operations

  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to support company objectives

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant standards and regulations

  • Serve as the main point of contact for office operations including IT, maintenance, shipping, deliveries, new hire setup, and internal announcements

  • Maintain office and facility readiness, including cleanliness, kitchen/office supplies, snacks, refreshments, and equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management

  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and office management software

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Team-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to work in-office in Houston, Texas (Clear Lake area)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting engineering teams or working in aerospace, defense, or technical environments
